Apps in the Works

Some Grime apps are already out in the wild. These ones are still being built, tested, argued with or occasionally stared at until they behave.

Grime’s Games

Only the games you care about.

A personalised sporting-event alert app. Tell Grime’s Games which teams, players, competitions and events matter to you, and it tells you when they’re on — without making you wade through everything else.

Planned as a subscription service using push notifications, with each user’s own rules and alert history.

A quote for almost every occasion.

A large collection of quotations, one-liners and assorted verbal mischief, wrapped in a simple app with search, favourites and sharing.

The app itself is largely built. Publication is currently on hold while the rights to some of the quoted material are sorted out.

What About Me?

My life. My community. My world.

A personal living world for the people, places, memories and things that matter to you. WAM includes private Campfires, relationships, photographs and shared memories, while keeping each person’s world their own.

An unusual interactive world of maps, music, diversions, answers, Campfires and whatever else wanders in. Not dead — merely waiting patiently while some of the more commercially useful children get fed first.

A resurrection of an old Grime favourite: jokes delivered regularly to people who probably ought to know better.

Other ideas are always lurking. Some will become apps. Some will sensibly remain ideas.
